LESSONS
• Private lessons develop the musical potential of each student through balanced repertoire
• Lessons include progressive technique, music theory and music history
• Group Classes develop confidence in solo and ensemble performance, music history, ear training and music theory application in a collaborative environment
• Computer-aided technology reinforces theory concepts and ear training

STUDIO ACTIVITIES
• Fall Festival where students perform two pieces, one contemporary and one from the classical periods of music
• Studio-wide competitions and games promote and motivate good practice techniques
• Sight Reading contests reinforce good reading skills
• Theory games reinforce musical concepts
• A 10 week Mid-Winter contest with awards designed to keep students practicing

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
• Junior Festival sponsored by the National Federation of Music Clubs offers annual opportunities for performance in which students receive a written critique, certificate and points which apply towards a gold cup
• Guild Auditions by the National Guild of Piano Teachers is an opportunity for performance and recognition for growth in musicianship abilities. Students perform anywhere from 3 to 10 solos for an adjudicator and receive a written evaluation, certificate and pin.
• Greater Louisville Music Teachers Association Student Workshop where students in grades 1-8 participate in various musical activities and prepare 2 memorized solos for adjudication
• Christmas Recital where every member of the family comes together to play a Christmas piece with their student
• Spring Recital affords the opportunity for students to perform solos and duets in a more formal setting. Awards for the year are presented at this time.

TUITION
• Paid on a semester basis divided into equal monthly installments
• Includes individual instruction in piano
• Group classes in theory and performance
